What you can do with PayPay on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is up on us in just a few days and each one of us would have preferred to express our gratitude to our mothers in person. However, we’re living through tough times. All of us at PayPay are avoiding travel as much as possible and sadly it includes travel to meet our beloved mother on Mother’s Day. We’re telling ourselves that by not travelling, we’re all doing our bit to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our loved one safe.

But this doesn’t mean we cannot express our gratitude. While we’re sure that our mothers would be more than satisfied with a simple call or, even better, a video call, let’s get creative in finding ways to stay close in the new world of “Social Distancing”. For many, it may be too late to send flowers or a gift online; but you could still send her money digitally using PayPay so that she could buy some flowers or anything else for herself.

If she has a PayPay account, all that you need to do is look up her account using her mobile number, insert the amount you want to send, enter a loving message and hit Send! That’s it. The money will be transferred instantly to your mother.  All that your mother has to do is accept the money transfer. The money you send can be used at any payPay merchant including thousands of flower shops.

Oh yes, Don’t forget to check out the special Mother’s Day Kisekae.
